Channeling Chanel?


Probably the opposite!
It must have been Chanel, who channeled the vintage opera clothes.

The stars were huge last season.
YSL and Chanel were among the fashion houses, who used stars nearly on everything.
Then, as a matter of fact, the high street was also covered in stars.
Stars, as common motifs always come and go.
Sonia Rykiel, Viktor&Rolf, Givenchy and Prada are among the ones who have previously used star details...


But after i saw this dress at the Royal Opera House i was convinced that Stefano Pilati spent some of his precious time in Covent Garden...



The bodice and over-skirt were worn by Margot Fonteyn in Birthday Offering. It was performed on 6 June 1958, in the presence of the Queen.
